Best Brunch in Whistler Creekside Village
Southside Diner
The Southside Diner in Whistler creekside village has been a local favorite for decades. The list of best things on the menu is too long to list but if you’re nursing a hangover, the Big Ass Pancake with loads of maple syrup or the Breakfast Poutine will make you feel whole again. And don’t forget the hair of the dog! I’m partial to the Mother’s Little Helper but the Sketcher Caesar is also next level or go with a local craft beer.
The Den at Nita Lake Lodge
If you’re hungry, then the “Bottomless” Eggs Benedict at The Den at Nita Lake Lodge makes this brunch spot the perfect place. The vegetarian dish Caramelized Banana + Nutella French Toast with coconut whip and maple syrup is as decadent as it gets. Breakfast is from 7 am – 11 am daily and brunch is from 7am – 2 pm on Sundays.
The Fix Café
Located just off the hotel lobby at Nita Lake Lodge, The Fix Cafe is more than a coffee shop. If you’re looking for brunch on the go, you can grab a muffin, croissant, sandwich or smoothie in addition to your organic coffees and teas.
Best Brunch in Function Junction
Wild Wood Cafe
Wild Wood has been one of the best places for brunch in Whistler for ages. Because it’s off the beaten tourist path, it’s also one of the few places you (usually) don’t need to wait. They serve breakfast all day so if you want a traditional breakfast, Wild Wood has it.
The Green Moustache
The Green Moustache has great food that is good for you too. The best breakfast items are the gluten-free buckwheat pancakes topped with caramel cashew cream, berry chia jam, and walnuts. The Blueberry Smoothie Bowl with topped with Green Mo’ granola, caramel cashew cream, berry crumbs, hemp seeds, coconut, and lemon zest is really good too!

Best Brunch in Whistler Village
Stonesedge Kitchen
I had one of the best Eggs Benedict here several years ago, and I’m still thinking about it! Stonesedge Kitchen is in the heart of Whistler village but a little tucked away. On sunny days, enjoy their brunch menu from the patio. They offer traditional breakfast items but if you have a sweet tooth, this is the perfect spot for you. Dig into the House-Made Lindt Chocolate Banana Bread with vanilla ice cream and maple drizzle. Yum! And if you’re thirsty, looks for the mimosa flights and vegan Caesars on the brunch menu.
Crêpe Montagne
Most people think of crepes as a sweet treat but Crepe Montagne has a whole menu of savoury crepes that are the perfect breakfast food. In addition to crepes, you can also enjoy eggs benedict, omelettes, and an extensive classic breakfast menu. And naturally, they do have sweet crêpes too. This is a great spot if you want to experience an authentic french creperie and it’s right on the village stroll.
Elements Urban Tapas Parlour
Another Whistler institution, Elements is known for its frittata and eggs benny. It’s also a great place for gluten-free and vegan options if you have dietary restrictions. The venue is small and they don’t take reservations but the turnaround is quick so don’t be dissuaded if you see a line at the door.
Peaked Pies Whistler
If you’re looking for something different, Peaked Pies is an Australian-inspired bakery on Main Street. They offer handmade Australian savoury pies, sweet pies, breakfast pies, Australian style coffees and desserts. For breakfast try the Ned Kelly meat pie with ground beef layered with ground bacon topped with a cracked egg and cheddar cheese. And if you’re looking for a proper flat white coffee, this is a great place for it.
Mount Currie Coffee Company
Ok so this is more of a coffee shop than a brunch spot but if you’re looking for a flaky breakfast croissant, you will find it at Mount Currie Coffee Company. It’s also a nice spot for tasty breakfast burritos, paninis, and freshly baked treats. You can find Mount Currie Coffee at 4369 Main St.
Best Brunch in Whistler Upper Village
Wildflower Restaurant at Fairmont Chateau Whistler
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so experiencing the incredible buffet at Wildflower Restaurant is a must. Located in the hotel lobby at Fairmont Chateau Whistler, this hearty breakfast has everything you could possibly want. Fresh smoothies, a wagon of pastries, eggs made to order, a carving station, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cheeses are just a few of the breakfast options. There’s also a great children’s menu. Wildflower is one of the only restaurants in Whistler that has a beautiful view looking out to Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains. If you’re looking for great service in an ideal casual resort setting, this is the perfect way.
The Clubhouse
There are a lot of choices of places to have brunch in Whistler but this might be my favorite spot. The Clubhouse makes my absolute favourite breakfast dish: the Pacific Salmon Bowl. It’s made of tater tots, cream cheese scrambled eggs, green onions, capers, and smoked salmon. It is SO GOOD. A close second is the vegetarian Pan Fried Oatmeal: steelcut oats pan fried with maple syrup and topped with lemon curd and blackberries. The Clubhouse is located on the Fairmont Chateau Whistler golf course and is one of the best ways to enjoy the summer months dining in the great outdoors. If you’ve been to Whistler in the winter months then you would know this location at The Chalet where you can enjoy different cheese fondues – yum!
Best Brunch in Whistler Village North
Alpine Café
Owned by two long time locals for the last couple decades, Alpine Cafe is one of the most popular spots in the area. It’s an eclectic and cozy atmosphere with delicious breakfast served until 2 pm daily. Whether its comfort food like the SLAM (Scrambled eggs, bacon, potato, french toast) or the Mexican Hash, breakfast at Alpine Cafe is a great way to start your day. It’s also one of the most reasonably priced breakfast options in Whistler.
Best Brunch on Whistler Blackcomb
The Crystal Hut
Waffles at the Crystal Hut on Blackcomb Mountain are as legendary as Whistler Blackcomb itself. Have them heaped with berries, whipped cream, maple syrup and chocolate flakes. On sunny days you can enjoy this sweet treat sitting on the outdoor patio of the log cabin looking out towards Whistler mountain. The Crystal Hut also makes a mean Caesar, which is really the ultimate brunch cocktail.
Whether you’re looking for egg bennies or vegan dishes, savory dishes or loaded french toast to satisfy your sweet tooth, you will find it in Whistler, British Columbia. There are so many great places to eat here and I hope this list of the best brunch in Whistler helps you enjoy your trip just a little bit more.
